CROCHET GRINCH AMIGURUMI PATTERN MATERIALS
- 2mm crochet hook;
- Green, white, and red yarn;
- Black thread to embroider the face. A little bit of yellow for the eye detail;
- Sewing needle;
- Stuffing material;
- Scissors.

LEGS
With green yarn chain 5, skip the first chain and start,
1 rnd 3sc, 4sc in the last chain turning the work and continue working on the other side, 2sc, 3sc in the last chain. Total 12sts
2 rnd 12blsc
3 rnd 1sc, 4dec, 3sc Total 8sts
•Chain 16, skip first st and make 15sl
• Cut the yarn leaving a bit of left over for sewing the feet.
• With the leftover yarn, sew the 4 stitches of one side with the 4 stitches of the other side the feet together, closing it.
ARMS
With green yarn start
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 and 3 rnd 6sc
• Fold the hand in half, having 3sc on one side and 3 on the other.
• For the next round, you will crochet together one side to the other, closing the hand.
4 rnd 1sc, (chain 16, skip first chain, 15sl), skip the central stitch, 1sc
• Cut the yarn and fasten it off.

• If your starting stitch is not in the same position as mine when you follow the pattern, the arms might not stay central. If that is the case, find the 4 stitches in the central part of the front of the Grinch’s body. That is the distance between the 2 arms. And adapt the round 16 acordinately.

• Cut the yarn and fasten it off.
SCARF
With white color yarn chain 45. Change to red color yarn, skip the first chain, and make 44blsl.
Cut the yarn and fasten it off. Use the leftover yarn of the white and red color on both edges of the scarf as fringes.
FINAL DETAILS
- With black thread yarn, embroider the eyes in round 27 leaving 3 stitches between them.
- With the same yarn, embroider a little nose two rounds under the eyes. And the eyebrows two rounds above the eye, taking two stitches in length and going down one round.
- Embroider a big mouth 3 rounds under the eyes, going up 7 rounds on its edges.
- Optional: With a yellow yarn, embroider two lines on the side of the eyes.
- Cut 5 pieces of green yarn of about 8cm/3 inches in length and attach them on top of Grinch’s head. Use an embroidery needle to fuzz the yarn.
- Dress the scarf around Grinch’s neck giving a basic knot.
