Anyways, I like chubby amigurumis! And I am enjoying so much making version of chubby round animal heads. So I can see a collection of them coming up! I made already a pig and a cow. So, it is growing!
I am also working on my little Halloween free patterns, along with a collection of paid, and more detailed, Halloween amigurumi. If you haven’t seen yet, here is my mini Frankenstein version! But yep, a lot going on this month!
Plus, was my niece’s birthday last week. She is into foxes lately, and her wish for her birthday was an Amigurumi fox (I love how she always asks for amigurumi even though she has all types of them already, made by me ofc…!!!). That is why I had to stop working on my Halloween amigurumi patterns to create this beautiful little fox for her, if you want to check, click here!
And, as I always do, I made a smaller, beginner-friendly version! A mini Fox!
You will need some basic amigurumi skills like color changes and a little bit of embroidering. But is very easy to do and I am writing all the steps detailed.
All the stitches I used for this mini fox amigurumi pattern, I there is a tutorial with step by step pictures with written description and video to follow up. I will leave the links below in case you don’t know some of the amigurumi techniques.
Stitches
- Easy way to make a magic ring
- How to do single crochet (SC)
- The perfect way to finish your amigurumi.
- How to increase (inc)
- What is invisible decrease (invDEC or DEC)
- How to back post single crochet (BPSC)
I will leave here also some tips that I like to remind every time before start crocheting an amigurumi! It is always good to remember some important things!
TIPS:
- Most important to remember is to keep your stitch with a tight tension, this way, you won’t have any see-through gaps.
- To help me keep my stitches tight, I prefer using yarn for a thicker needle than the one I would be using for the Amigurumi.
- Always count your stitches after every row, so you will make sure to have the correct total amount of stitches.
- Use a piece of yarn to mark the last stitch, so you won’t miss where the beginning and end of your row is!
I hope you like this mini Fox amigurumi pattern and that you enjoy it making! All right, let’s begin!
